You are viewing as a guest the decision of another user. If this is a new decision, you might not see any options yet. Options are some of the first things one adds to a decision
although some folks prefer to start with criteria. For specific products or services, a logged-in user can add an option quickly by clicking on

What are options?
Options are alternatives that are under consideration in a decision. It can be a product (HDTV), a service (a pre-school), a destination (Costa Rica), or even a person (presidential election). If you are deciding on a car, you might add several car models as the options. If you are considering a pre-school for your kids, you would add the names of the pre-schools you're considering as options.
What are sentiments?
A sentiment is your general overall feeling about an option. To let your feelings be known, move the slider arrow under the sentiment gauge.
What are ratings?
A rating is essentially how well you (or one of your helpers) feel an option satisfies one of your criteria. You might be rating an option against a factual criteria such as "Number of HDMI ports" for a model of HDTV or a more subjective criteria such as "Picture quality".What are criteria?
Criteria are the aspects of an option that will make or break it.A criterion can be a simple yes or no (Does this car have a Navigation System?). It can be a desirable range of values (Is this HDTV in my price range?). It can also be a list of items that are important to you (My next apartment must have a dishwasher, garage parking, and central AC!).
What is research?
Information is crucial to any decision making. Good information provides the basis for making better decisions. At unfuse, we call it research. You can bookmark anything you find on the Internet, write a note about it, and add it to your research page. You can tag research for specific options or criteria.Who are helpers?
In your world of decision making, there are those people who you trust, whose opinions you really value. These people will influence you one way or the other on which option you choose. These are the people you go to for specific problems for advice. For example, Josh from work might be your Gadget Guru and Jessica from school your Style Guru. Invite these guys as helpers to your decision so that you can choose with their .. well, help! How do I compare options?
The comparison table is the result of a group of people collaborating on a decision. It lays out all of the options and the criteria in a table format with score based on the feedback collected from you and your helpers. Note: If you can't see the compare page, make sure you've got at least two options and one criterion in your decision.unfusr - 2008 Presidential Debate on National Security and Foreign Policy
